নবোব বিষয়ে কিছু বই

সাম্রাজ্যের বাংলা লুঠের কথা শুরুই হয়না বাংলা(এবং অবশ্যই বম্বে আর মাদ্রাজ)য় কাজ করে যাওয়া আমলা, ব্যবসায়ী আর লুঠেরা যাদের নাম নবোব, লুঠের বহর আলোচনা না করলে। কয়েকদিন আগে জেমস Holzman, James M. The Nabobs in England: A Study of the Returned Anglo-Indian, 1760-1785 বইটা অনুবাদ করতে গিয়ে কতগুলো বইএর তালিকা পেলাম। আগ্রহী মানুষদের সেই তালিকার প্রথমাংশ তুলে দেওয়া গেল। দ্বিতীয়াংশ পরের প্রকাশনায় -
