শিল্প ঐতিহাসিক জেপি লস্টি ছবিটিকে বলছেন one of the greatest of political pictures from any culture। In Jahangir's dream, as captured pictorially by Abu'l Hasan, the two rival emperors are shown embracing each other against the background of an immense halo composed of a radiant sun and a beautiful crescent moon sup- ported by two celestial putti. Numerous commentators have noted that not only is Jahangir painted lighter and brighter than his dark-complexioned rival (alerting us to the prevalence of a non-European/pre-colonial racial economy at work), but he is also bigger than the Shah, who appears frail and meek, his arms unable to grasp the majesty of the great man he seeks to embrace. On the other hand, "the attitude of the Mughal emperor is that of a great monarch generously patronizing an inferior rival". This impression is further strengthened by the fact that Jahangir is made to stand on a large lion while his Persian rival's feet rest on a smaller lamb.
সুমিতা রামস্বামী লিখছেন আবদুল হাসান তার মানচিত্র কলকাতা আর কোচ এলাকা উল্লেখ করেছেন - Schwartzberg mentions that among the South Asian place-names inscribed on Abu'l Hasan's globe are Multan, Lahore, Delhi, Agra, Kuch, Purb, Calcutta, Mac Kingdom, Surat, Bijapur, Goa, Golkonda, and Karnataka. "All are reasonably well placed and easily identified, with the possible exception of Kuch, Mac Kingdom, and Purb. Kuch may signify the large Koch tribe of northeastern India or the etymologically related state of Cooch Behar. Mac Kingdom presumably relates to the then reigning Mac dynasty of Vietnam. Purb, which signifies east, has no obvious toponymic refer- ent. Judging from the position of Bijapur and Golkonda, the long river extending across peninsular India is the Krishna"
