Let their be a formal schooling (board) and higher education system (university) dedicated to the knowledge creation and dissemination by the people hailing from "শূদ্র-বৈশ্য-মুসলমান ও অন্যান্য পরম্পরা".

what we need is a completely fresh approach to how we are educated. Let Macaulay remain where it has prospered, but let people from the "শূদ্র-বৈশ্য-মুসলমান ও অন্যান্য পরম্পরা" have a chance at reviving their way of education and training. Let their be a formal schooling (board) and higher education system (university) dedicated to the knowledge creation and dissemination by the people hailing from "শূদ্র-বৈশ্য-মুসলমান ও অন্যান্য পরম্পরা". Like we have a CBSE or ICSE, we could have a higher education board on 'Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge' systems - Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education on Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge. Let the State of the day recognize this board as a formal way of educating the South Asians. Let the State subsidize the education to be pursued in this system. Let people from the "শূদ্র-বৈশ্য-মুসলমান ও অন্যান্য পরম্পরা" not be forced to pursue education in only CBSE/ICSE/Traditional State Boards based on Macaulay. Let them proudly and formally pursue education in their chosen system - that could be either through a education board dedicated to 'Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge' systems or the usual CBSE/ICSE/Traditional State Boards. But at least let us give a fair chance to 'Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge' systems to thrive. We can't keep on crying over the spilt milk, nor can we expect the Brits and Macaulay to return and erase all the wrong doings. It's now up to us to ensure our people's survival. And our people's survival cannot be sustainable on borrowed European & western technologies. Its time to fall back on 'Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge' systems.
